Recently the Sherie Hildreth Ovarian Cancer Foundation held its annual Empowerment Walk meant to raise funds for ovarian cancer research in Gladstone, Oregon. Founder Sherie Hildreth was ecstatic at seeing ever greater number of participants each year her non-profit organization has put on the Empowerment Walk.  While no official numbers have been tabulated Sherie is confident this year's event "blew last year out of the water!"

Several walking teams helped push the total higher including Flugtagers "Funky 4 + 1 More" and the Lake Oswego chapter of LeTip, a business networking organization of whom husband Bruce Hildreth is a member.  "I am extremely thankful for the concern and support of my LeTip team."

The SHOC Foundation presents several fundraising opportunities throughout the year and sister organization, Hats of Empowerment, raises funds through sales of  hats and related merchandise.

If you did not get a chance to participate in this year's Empowerment Walk, fill out the subscription form below and we'll keep you advised of the next open registration.  Or, if you'd like to donate much-needed funds now CLICK HERE to make a donation.
